wolverina 5 Posted February 22, 2017 It totally is.. but I am happy to know that it's just not me then. I keep thinking because they have moved me on to soft solid foods.. fingers crossed.. (for both of us)
mylighthouse 782 Posted February 22, 2017 Stalls are perfectly normal. It happens to almost everybody and it's very common if you've read some of the post about stalls here that the 3 week mark is when a lot of people stall.... including myself. I stalled after week 2 and didn't lost anything for almost 2 weeks. Your body just went through major surgery, is getting used to the weight loss and changes that are going on with you. Most likely this will not be the first or last time that you stall. Don't get discouraged or down about it, be happy with what you have already lost and in knowing that if you stick to your plan, get your Protein and liquids in everyday.... you will see the scale move again very soon. 2 Hellya and wolverina reacted to this

rottenruby 12 Posted February 23, 2017 Same here. I had to stop weighing myself so much. Gave my body a chance to lose weight in private, without me looking over its shoulder all the time [emoji16]Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App 5 LeaninLanc, wolverina, carlychloe2 and 2 others reacted to this

kim0518 26 Posted February 28, 2017 The dreaded week 3 stall! Mine lasted for two weeks. Once you begin upping your calories, it should break. Be sure your sugar and carb grams are minimal and Protein and healthy fats are high. 2 wolverina and joycey100 reacted to this

Pam_2-06-2017 375 Posted March 20, 2017 Week 5 I came to a screeching halt. Haven't lost anything all of week 6. I weigh once a week so it was a bit of a shock. Thankful for this support board and it gives me confidence that I'll move past yet another phase in my journey. 1 wolverina reacted to this
Mela2 2 Posted March 22, 2017 I was so glad to hear this. I had lost 30 lbs in the first 3 weeks, but then nothing, event 1/2 lb gain! Very disappointing and depressing. Also, since starting on regular food, I feel like I'm retaining Water and not moving my bowls as often. In trying to get all my Protein in, I feel like I'm eating all the time and felt that was the reason for the stall. 2 Koshamrock and wolverina reacted to this
dewingit 9 Posted March 23, 2017 I too feel your pain. I lost 24 pounds in two weeks. Then nothing for almost a week. Now I seem to be losing again at 1/4 to 1/2 pound a day. I gather that some people are starting soft foods in or after the third week. My instructions say Clear Liquids for two weeks then parade foods for the next four. I was thankful to get off the clear liquids. I am really struggling forcing myself to put good food in the blender I never realize presentation and textures are so important. 1 wolverina reacted to this
