helloworld85 29 Posted February 19, 2017 Was wondering fellow sleeve friends how long the pain stayed and what pain meds your Dr prescribed when u went home??
orionburn 1,024 Posted February 19, 2017 I don't recall the exact name but it was a mix of generic Vicodin and Tylenol. I took it on a pretty regular basis the first few days, but within a week I was only using 1 or 2 a day. The pain wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. Was more of a dull ache than anything stabbing. 1 helloworld85 reacted to this

orionburn 1,024 Posted February 20, 2017 I had a prolonged stay in the hospital due to my spleen deciding to spring a leak, but still I was barely using my pain meds by the end of my stay. Granted I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, and the first two days were the worst, but still it wasn't anything as bad as I thought it would be. 1 helloworld85 reacted to this
Laurenjane83 8 Posted February 20, 2017 I was sleeved Feb. 13th. I got Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen Syrup before surgery. It was great but I had REALLY sore muscles afterwards due to a reaction to the scoline in the anesthesia and went through the syrup quickly because without it I couldn't even get out of bed! Now I am on Tramadol which is not even close to the hydro but mixed with tylenol it gets me through the day. I wish I had been more careful about rationing the "good stuff" as I'm going back to work tomorrow! 1 helloworld85 reacted to this
rush1958 53 Posted February 20, 2017 I was given a prescription for oxycodone when leaving the hospital. I filled it, but never used any. I found Tylenol was all I needed for a couple of days. After that I didn't need anything. 1 helloworld85 reacted to this
