kokofamfour 42 Posted February 19, 2017 Hey all! I had surgery 2/8. I lost 2 lb a day for first 7 days. Now I have only lost 2 in last 4 days.at my post op appt at 10 days- they removed my drain and then told me I am clear for all exercise and to start introducing puréed foods as tolerated. It was super Earlier than I expected. I am frustrated but more confused. Still only eating roughly 350-450 calories a day and can't believe I am not losing!Sw- 255Cw- 239Gw-
Diva T 62 Posted February 19, 2017 Relax, of course you're losing you calorie intake is really low. I would stop weighing myself. I don't even have a scale at home at this point. Too big of a temptation. I'd be weighing myself constantly. I've got plenty of post op appointments for the time being and will get weighed every time. I'm 33 days post op today. I hope you find my opinion helpful to you and may God bless you and keep you!
Hellya 144 Posted February 19, 2017 A lot of people stall early. The infamous "week 3 stall" can really happen in week 2 or week 4 or whenever. Keep the faith and stay on course. You will lose the weight once your body stops freaking out from the changes that are and have happened (major surgery, very low calories). And rest assured, you will stall again. And again. And again. But eventually you'll get there.
