I'm am almost at 14days so moving to soft foods. Can I have scrambled eggs and tuna maybe blended. I feel like I need Protein. I have no energy or patience. What was everyone eating?

Shelley, scrambled eggs are fine. There are a lot of things that you can have during the purée stage. Someone suggested this site in another forum and it is great!

Check out http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/

When you get to the site, on the left side are links, look for the link for soft and puréed food stage. There are several ideas and recipes. The way I see it, if it is high Protein and you can blend/purée it, you can eat it.

Also, someone suggested baby foods as well, already puréed, 0 sugars and high protein!

I made a batch of the ricotta bake and puréed chili. I then rotated that with baby food, and occasionally retried Beans. I' not an adventurous eater so I stayed with what sounded appealing and I knew that I could tolerate. Of course Protein drinks and sf Jello were still being consumed.

The ricotta bake at that stage was heaven!! I highly recommend making that one. The recipe makes a large amount (for you) so you can portion it out and refrigerate it. Then you have easy heat and eat meals. You'll start getting your energy back now that you are working towards real food.

Ideas for soft food stage:

Scrambled eggs, nonfat re-fried Beans, ricotta bake, cottage cheese, I made a mini omelette (scrambled eggs with laughing cow cheese). low-fat greek yogurt (you can add Protein powder to it too), egg salad would be good too, oatmeal with Protein Powder.
