When could you swallow vitamins and not need chewables?

I m on the insurance covered Vitamin plan and they ship to my house. I already started taking and surgery isn't scheduled till March 2. I hate the chewables. They are too sweet. When can I have them send me the regular kind that I can just swallow. a few months?

Try vitamin patches, you can buy them in the BariatricPal Store, I have Multivitamins, B12 and D3, feeling great!

I started in the hospital right after surgery. It's been hard getting all these Vitamins in tho. I just ordered the patch. Can't wait to try it out.

I had to adapt to swallowing uncomfortably large pills the next day since I'm on an immunosuppressant regimen for transplant. At first it was extremely painful and nerve-racking, but I think by day 2 it was just tedious having to do one at a time. Now, 7 months out (and I could probably do this at about 2-3 months out) I can swallow all of my horse pills and gulp some Water down no problem.

My surgeon said theres no restrictions on any pills right after surgery but not allowed to start Vitamins until my 2 week post op apt
