As I came running in from work to get in my comfy pjs I realize that I can't wait to not just want to run home and put my pjs on! I can't wait to have the energy everyone talks about . When does the energy come I wonder .Today eating approximately 1000 calories w e trembly low carbs I'm not feeling energetic at all. I'm just wondering if post op you are eating even less , where does the energy come from ? I had a prolonged hospital stay, but the first week back at home was rough and had no energy at all. I would get up and do some light housework from time to time, but usually I was wiped out after 5-10 minutes. Your body has been through a lot with surgery so between the natural healing process and low carbs/calories it can be difficult. Others seem like they could go run a mile a week after surgery, others stuck to the couch. I was on the couch side...lol
