WAS TOTALLY AGAINST PLASTIC SURGERY UNTIL I WOKE UP....

Recommended Posts

I was hoping they would be age-appropriate saggy, but I'm "only" down 60 lbs and have another 40-60 to go, and it's sad what is happening in the chesticles area. The bat-wing arms aren't cute, either, or the rolling thighs. I'm walking and spinning and doing weights 2-5x a week, hoping with time and exercise some of it sorts itself out a bit, but I figure 2019 or 2020 there will be a Tummy Tuck, breast implant/lift that needs to be budgeted for.

I didn't think I was this vain, but I am! I'm finally liking how I'm looking and don't want to waste this opportunity to look good for the last of my young-ish years. continuing to be self-conscious. Plus, getting skin tags on the underarms and breast area from skin chafing. Gross.

Lift me up, baby!

Right , I figured in the beginning of this "I JUST WANT TO BE HEALTHY". now that the health has improved and the temptation to show off the hard work is here the TWIN TOWERS will not let me be great. The stomach, i can tuck in and conceal , been doing that for years. The boobs only look good completely covered. Nothing low cut because even in a great bra they look like they need to be ironed. Could i live with it, technically, would i be happy still having to cover up at beaches NO. After my one year check up i will start lining up consultations

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
