journey2befit 8 Posted February 14, 2017 Hello everyone,I hope you're all doing well. I had lapband surgery on the 10th of this month. My recovery is ok, I have not thrown up and I'm a little sore but I am starving and have a massive headache!! I don't know what to do. I feel like I've made the biggest mistake. I'm on a 7 day liquid diet and I'm constantly starving. I need suggestions or advice PLEASE!!! 1 timetraveler reacted to this

jovi2673 22 Posted February 19, 2017 Maybe try a Soup that's a little thicker. Such as potato soup without chunks. That's what I did after my band to get me through.
Saly 0 Posted February 19, 2017 I will try that! Thanks
kelmac 3 Posted April 18, 2017 I find Tomato Soup with some black pepper seems to curb my hunger. My belly just sings all night in bed even after 3 litres of liquid thoughtout the day....
Syaniya 319 Posted April 18, 2017 Sf Jello, sf popsicles, sf pudding, Protein Shakes, applesauce, these were all approved on my liquid diet. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app

Bandolita 11 Posted November 11, 2017 Protein, protein, protein. My dietician made sure that I was having at least 3 Protein Shakes a day, or putting protein powder into my Soups. I promise it will help you feel full!
raising3monkeys 55 Posted November 14, 2017 Had my surgery 4 days ago and yes, I've been quite hungry, too. I go to the doctor for post op tomorrow, and I think I'll get the band adjusted then and be able to start eating solids then. I know that after I start on solids, I should only be eating three meals a day, so I kept thinking that that's how this time period was supposed to be, too. I emailed my doc about it, and he said to not deprive myself when I feel hungry. I think the liquids just go right through the band, which is why so much hunger. At least I'm hopeful that this will result in some weight loss!
