Loser's Bench Newbie! I'm 1.5 days out from my vsg and plan to go home today. Since I've never had any surgery and my only hospitalizations were to pop out four kids (without any pain meds), I really didn't know what to expect. My plan has been to take advantage of all offered pain meds, walk every time I'm asked and use the incentive spirometer at bedside 10 times per hour. I'm approaching it like a job. My encouragement goes out to those waiting on a March sleeve date!

Congratulations! I myself just got home almost a week ago now. Did exactly as you and had as many kids as you lol
Everything will go will! Just stay on top of the Fluid intake and pain meds.

I have a mandatory pre-op class 3/10, and an endoscopy procedure 3/17. I won't meet with my nutritionist again until after surgery. I started this process in September, psych appointments, cardiologist, pulmonologist, PCP, blood work, ultrasounds, so glad that part is done!

@ fat too fabulous, I'm starting my pre op diet Monday 3/13, what about you?

I'm not hungry at all. My plan is more than just the shake. I'm adding a shot of my plan. First day was great. Today is looking good too.
