Have fibromyalgia, borderline lupus and diabetic, high blood pressure and hypothyroidism. I want my life back and want to be active again. They will do down to a BMI of 35 if you have weight-related comorbidities. I have PCOS, anxiety, and depression. It's case by case though... my first surgeon didn't think the benefits would outweigh the risks and passed on my case. Dr Gill on the other hand accepted me as his patient. I will say I joined the clinic at a BMI of 40, which is the minimum for people without comorbidities.
