PeterB 2 Posted February 12, 2017 I had a gastric sleeve operation on 1/23/2017 done by Dr. Buzdon at Portsmouth Reg. Hospital in NH. Very impressed with Dr. Buzdon. Spent lots of time pre op and post op with me. Excellent bedside manner, very supportive. Scars (5) are very small and healing rapidly. If I didn't have the scars and didn't seee that I can no longer eat as much food, I wouldn't know I had an operation. No pain, no nausea. No nothing! Excellent job. Only downside was she wouldn't give me a slice of the removed stomach, but did give me internal pictures showing my original stomach, liver and cut open stomach. Very cool!! I highly recommend her. Peter B. Plaistow NH Why did you want a slice of your removed stomach? A bit eerie.
PeterB 2 Posted September 24, 2017 Not really. I'm a science geek, I have a microscope. Why not have a slice I can examine, its mine afterall! I was hoping to save it in a jar of formaldehyde. But at least they took pictures for me!
