gg2016 46 Posted February 12, 2017 I wanted to share my progress. I was sleeved 11/30 and I've lost about 60lbs so far. I was told that the weight loss does start to slow down about now and not that I'm unhappy with my progress but I still want to lose about 40 more. What are your tips and suggestions to keep losing and avoid a plateau? Also, I have an upcoming company party next month and we usually have a few glasses of wine. How long did you guys wait before having a drink?
NJ12 6 Posted February 12, 2017 My surgeon suggested 6 months before alcohol, but I have heard of some saying a year! No liquids a 1/2 before eating and after. Make smart choices keep you food options clean. 1 gg2016 reacted to this
Alyssa_T 30 Posted February 12, 2017 Omg! I was sleeved on the same day as you and I just lost 30lbs. I want to loose around 45lbs more but I see I don't loose so fast anymore. To be honest, I don't train much but I take care of my food. To eat good quality and Protein but still. I'm starting to get worried. :/ 1 gg2016 reacted to this
Jesm1029 101 Posted February 13, 2017 So that's great you lost a lot quick and your doing well. The only tips I have is to stick with the diet they give you once you stray it can be difficult to get back on for some so keep your goal in mind. High Protein low carbs 1 gg2016 reacted to this
lavidaloca 2 Posted February 13, 2017 I was sleeved same day and have lost 35 since then I think whatever you are doing you are doing right! I had an almost 3 week stall and sometimes it's unavoidable - good job! I want you to tell me what you are doing so I can have a 60lb loss! 1 gg2016 reacted to this
gg2016 46 Posted February 14, 2017 thank you everyone! I am eating very small amounts, literally just a few bites per meal I still can't take it a lot, which I am NOT complaining at all! it was definitely a struggle at first but once you break that habit in your mind it becomes a lot easier. I find that I give most of my food to my husband or kids, lol.
