mine started falling out about one month to 6 weeks after surgery. it lasted about 4 months and then started growing back. such a funny feeling when all of a sudden you start feeling prickles when you run your fingers thro the hair. it is new growth. loved it

I didn't notice hair loss until about 3 months in... I have really thick hair but shed a lot and lost a lot in the shower. In slowed down a lot around 8 months and now I'm 10 months out and don't notice any Hair loss. Like I said, I have thick hair, so only *I* noticed it. I ended up just washing my hair less for a few months until the loss slowed down. Everyone is different... I know some people take Biotin to help during that time... the good news is-it's not permanent and hair grows back

I have been suffering hair loss for a while, I've tried everything, from natural products to chemicals and nothing. And then.... I start using a new product. which is this product:

I've only used twice, and so far I can say that it is a good product, with a good smell, this Shampoo leaves hair soft, and since I use it I've noticed a decrease in Hair loss. Plus is complete organic, sulfate free and it makes you feel the hair stronger than before.

I will not ever buy a different shampoo and I recommend it to anyone that wants more, fuller, and healthier hair.

Yes the Hair loss is really disturbing. I'm four months out and the huge amounts started about three months post op. I hope it stops soon!

At 6 months was when Hair loss was the most noticeable try to keep up with Protein Shakes and Vitamins. I took a chewable hair and skin Vitamin that I think helped. I have thin hair to begin with so was worried I would have bald Patches but it didn't happen...but now a year later I am noticing hair regrowth at temples.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
