regnamie 6 Posted February 12, 2017 I am struggling pouring the capsules on my pudding. I am four days post op and tried mixing with Water but they didn't dissolve. I tried pudding today an it was terrible. I had to choke down. Any other ideas? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
30moms 7 Posted February 12, 2017 Regnamie I don't know if this will help you but I just open the capsules into my mouth and then swallow some Water to move it around and drink it down.Sent from my B1-810 using the BariatricPal App 1 GACaldwell reacted to this
glorot 5 Posted February 12, 2017 Nothing tastes good with it! I put it in apple juice and that was the best I could do. After my one week visit to the doctor he said it was ok to take the capsules ! Good luck my sleeve was 1/25Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Er1n 90 Posted February 12, 2017 I use 2 spoons. I take one and cover it in sugar free cool whip. I pour the the cap out then cover it with more cool whip. Works like a charm. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

tinawithasleeve 3 Posted February 12, 2017 My husband pours the beads over 2 tablespoons of SF Jello. I just do my best to get them all down. I was told they are time released so they won't dissolve in any liquids.
Dennis Robins 19 Posted February 12, 2017 I take all my pills whole and two large Vitamins since 1 day post op. I haven't had any issues.

LivsMum 9 Posted February 12, 2017 Ask your doctor for a different drug. There are many proton pump inhibitors (PPI) available. I take pantoprazole and that comes in a small, coated tablet. Very easy to swallow.
pgadd56 11 Posted February 14, 2017 Omeprazole is crap! It never helped me. I also took Pepcid which isn't much better.
pgadd56 11 Posted February 14, 2017 Today I tried good old fashion baking soda and Water. I got instant relief.
pgadd56 11 Posted February 14, 2017 Looks like I'm going to have to manually manage the acid in my body by sipping lemon Water all day, taking organic apple cider vinegar in distilled water mornings and evenings, and adding herbal tea digestive enzymes daily. Lemon water keeps your body alkaline naturally, apple cider vinegar kicks acid in the butt, and the herbal tea digestive enzymes aid with proper digestion.
