TheBomb64 39 Posted February 11, 2017 Hi BeavuzI'm in Australia [emoji1037] so I'm not sure if the names are different but I buy these from the super market they ice filled packs with different flavours.I also crush ice mixed with chocolate whey Protein added with a piece of banana and skim milk'This helps my protein in take and also helps with the Fluid intake. Mix it up a little I've made some concoctions that tasted vile but after a few attempts I found some that workAlso clear Soup goes down beautifully Hope this helps a little Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App 1 Beavuz842 reacted to this

pixiechick 4 Posted February 12, 2017 I am 10 weeks post op, lost 50lb so I'm feeling great, just know how important following the diet is, you can really hurt yourself if you try to start eating solids early. Hang in there! The only thing I still eat from the liquid phase is popscles. I try to remind myself that eating what I wanted got me in this place so it's my time to sacrifice for my healthSent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

regnamie 6 Posted February 12, 2017 Yes, I lay on my side with a pillow up to my chest. Also a heating pad. Pushes the air out. I wasn't able to pass gas until yesterday. My surgery was 2/8.Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App 1 Belle_Mimi reacted to this
regnamie 6 Posted February 12, 2017 I was told any clear Soup strained like miso, or light chicken noodle and creamy Soups that are light. All have to be strained and light. Low carbs and sugar. I really like "better than bouillon". Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app I tried Milk of Magnesia and felt great after my first bowel movement. Monday. But today (Wed) the gas pains are coming back. I've also thought many times about chewing a cracker and spitting it out. This is way harder than I ever imagined! But I'm trying to remind myself this phase won't last forever and if we've gone thru the surgery we can do this!!!! 2 millerlillygirl and Belle_Mimi reacted to this
millerlillygirl 12 Posted February 21, 2017 I had the same thing last week. I took the magnesia too and oh gosh it helped that day but the next couple days were rough again and then I felt better after that.
