Hey, I need you guys advice. I am almost 3 months post op. All was great until this week when all of a sudden I have an extreme lack of energy. I normally workout 6 days a week for a 20-30 mins alternating between cardio and strength. I get 70-90 grams of Protein. I take my supplements in patch form ( multi, Vitamin D, Biotin, iron) and pills omega-3, Vitamin B-50, Probiotics. I just don't know what is wrong with me. I am still losing weight I believe but I can't seem to finish a workout to save my life. I can barely walk up a flight of stairs.

I'd call your nutritionist. I've been on a B12 energy patch since day one because my energy levels were nill, especially post-op. If I don't use them, I can feel it after just a day.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will call her tomorrow. I did cardio today and it was a little better. Still not the best. It did start a week after switching to the Patches but it is close to that time of the month and I did have a non-stop runny nose this morning (I live in Vegas, it is not cold). So who knows, I hope she can help. It just sucks because I was loving all the extra energy I had. I felt amazing these past 2 months.

I feel the same way, i had blood work done and all of my levels are good. I was sleeved Nov. 2nd and this has just hit me over the last three weeks or so and i just cant' get past it.

I also use the Vitamin Patches but since the blood work came out good i believe they are working just fine. I have been dealing with a non-stop runny nose too, so weird!!

let me know if you get any answers or start to feel better.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
