ok well after i read the other introdutions i see i didnt do a very good job. From East Texas area. Both my sister are almost 2 years post gastric by pass. I've always been the smallest but that is no more and they look awesome. I have had my weight creep more steadily since i turned the BIG 40 so i decided to take control of this monster and do something about it. My daughter is my cheerleader and my sisters are giving me pointers and encouragement. I have tried everything to lose weight but never really been in control of my eating. I love to exercise but that just gave me permission to eat more. I am so excited to be taking control of this and looking forward to a more active, optimistic lifestyle.

congrats on your band! im from east texas too! i was banded on 8-17-07 and will gave my first fill oct 4th.
