Decision to go for bariatric surgery

Hi all, this is my first post.. i would like to get some feedback from you guys.. how long did it take for you to decide on the surgery? Were you hesitant at first to go ahead? And what makes you decided to go for it.. thanks alot!

It took me years to make the decision. I always said I would never have surgery but then they came out with the Sleeve procedure and I took a second look. I ended up with the Gastric Bypass after all due to my weight and age.

I am so happy with my decision. Have lost a total of 67 pounds since surgery in October and 81 overall since Jan 2016.

I really wish I had done it sooner. I have so much more energy and so much less arthritis pain.

I also always always said I don't want to do surgery it's the @easy way out ?" "why put your body through surgery "? But then I was really going hard in the gym and got a hernia and couldn't work out as much of course my hernia was due to obesity. I'm 32 & now one of my aunts has diabetes & the other has heart disease they are petite women. I don't want to be older with health issues & after doing my research I felt like vsg is right for me
