tmarie8842 0 Posted February 5, 2017 Hi all, I'm 14 months out, 145lbs down from starting at 286! In the past 3 months when I do something (like today I went bowling with the family, picked up the house and did laundry) I'm knocked on my butt, feeling dizzy and tired. From a DR's view everything is perfect, lab work, blood pressure. Has anyone experienced feeling like this? I was to be active and do things! This is so annoying! shedo82773 1,236 Posted February 6, 2017 How is your Fluid intake? I do know that my PCP thought it was my heart and did physical and medical induced test. Come to find out I was dehydrated. It happens. Just a trhought. Good Luck. Your weight loss has been awesome!! 1 tmarie8842 reacted to this
James Marusek 5,244 Posted February 6, 2017 In general, the three most important elements after RNY gastric bypass surgery are to meet your daily Protein, Fluid and Vitamin requirements. So a problem in any of these areas could cause your symptoms. For example, a lack of B12 can cause this. But since you got your labs back and they were good, that indicates that this may not be the problem area. Another type of problem that could cause this is reactive hypoglycemia. Here is a link that describes this condition. https://www.ridgeviewmedical.org/services/bariatric-weight-loss/enewsletter-articles/reactive-hypoglycemia-postgastric-bypass/ 1 tmarie8842 reacted to this
