Berry78 4,261 Posted February 6, 2017 Can you walk along with 5 others as a not-much weight bearing person in the middle? I know this is important, but you need to stay healthy during this difficult time. (I'm sorry for your loss ). Middus 491 Posted February 7, 2017 I'm going to be a pallbearer at my brothers funeral on Saturday. I want to know how much I can carry. If I can do it. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal AppSorry for your loss. I would say you should rest, but I'm sure it's an emotional time (and an emotional event) for you. Perhaps allow the others to do the hoisting when the casket is being lifted up. That way you won't jar anything. You can join in the shoulder-carry. If you feel any pain, its advisable to stop.Don't take pain killers before carrying so you will know if you're overdoing things.Sent from my SM-N900P using the BariatricPal App
