itzbrittaanyx3 23 Posted February 3, 2017 I decided to treat myself to Panera bread for lunch... I ordered he broccoli cheddar Soup but the kids portion. I ate the whole soup and I still feel hungry. Is it normal? Did my stomach stretch out? I'm so paranoid . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
clc9 644 Posted February 3, 2017 liquids don't fill you up like lean solid Proteins. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
JamieLogical 8,710 Posted February 3, 2017 Don't eat Soup and expect to feel full. My nutritionist told me no soup ever again after my post-op food stages were over. It's basically "drinking your calories" which is a big no-no.
Ssze1109 163 Posted February 3, 2017 I was told I can have Soup. It's not as filling as the black bean soup or chili. Not sure how big the kids portion is but I'm assuming it's small. Maybe try some Protein first and see if that does it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
bossportsgal 136 Posted February 5, 2017 I would add a scoop of Protein to your Soups. I carry a small container of Protein around with me and dump a scoop when needed. Haha Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
