Jodster 38 Posted February 2, 2017 I'm at the 3 week point as of today. People have said I look like I've lost weight. And I have, but I don't "see" it. Sent from my SM-G900T using the BariatricPal App
Olypie 41 Posted February 2, 2017 My therapist said that's very normal. She said that our weight is a big part of our identity so it's going to take longer for us to "see" the results as opposed to others seeing it. She suggested taking pictures throughout the journey because it's easier to see the loss in comparing them. DFP 15 Posted February 2, 2017 Thanks. I am in my 3rd week post sleeve as well. I have loss 18 pounds and others say they see it and I don't. But I feel so much better and more energy so I know something is happening Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
LittleLizzieLilliput 919 Posted February 2, 2017 We don't see ourselves as others do. For me I didn't see it for a while, but with every drop of clothing size I would feel it in that happy glow in my solar plexis. lol and then when I finally did see it I just played with my face, my chin, my neck, my profile for like 30 minutes. lol!
