jpaps20 20 Posted February 2, 2017 What does everyone think about those new Air Fryers that are all over the place these days? Next week I will be 3 months post-op & to date I have stayed away from ALL fried foods... I have no issues cutting up a sweet potato & making myself a few fries by baking them in the oven, but I keep seeing Ads for these fryers & I really want to know if I'm getting suckered or if it would be a good purchase. Thoughts?
Salee 24 Posted February 2, 2017 I love mine. Cooking time is a lot less than a regular oven & If u follow it's instructions, the meat comes out tender. Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App

jpaps20 20 Posted February 2, 2017 I've wondered about the air fryers myself Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App Yea - Like, if it's going to be just as bad as eating something fried, then I don't want anything to do with it. I've worked way to hard this far! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Thoughts? I looked up hundreds of reviews last night on Walmart.com. Apparently, they're the real deal. Especially the Farber brand. I'm going to get one myself. Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App I tend to overcook my meat a bit (not on purpose, just bad at gauging cooking times) , but my NUT suggested that i use a condiment to moisten up, since we can't drink while we eat.
