@SoCalLaura Stalls are so hard! You will get past it! Have you tried switching things up at all?

@faithlovehope It's frustrating to go up but today is a new day and you'll get back to it!

@hermione53 I wouldn't stress too much over .2 of a pound. Our bodies fluctuate so much that that could just be Water weight. I know it's hard not to analyze the numbers and get upset by any increase but as long as you are doing the right things it will come off!

@SabzyI know it sucks but today is a new day and we will all get back to losing!

@HiltonHead2010 I totally understand. I was away the past 2 weekends and I ate out more than I wanted to and didn't make the best choices. I know what I did and honestly I was expecting more of a gain than 2 pounds. I'm home now though and back on the saddle. It's already come off. :)

Finally broke a 6 week stall!!!

The best thing about this post is knowing that a 6 week stall exists- I am entering week 4 !! And while I keep telling myself all the right things, I question more and more what's going on inside!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
