Shell68 0 Posted February 1, 2017 Hello--I had surgery 12/13/16 and am having difficulty transitioning to solid food. I'd love to talk with someone about this. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Maggie22 12 Posted February 2, 2017 In what ways are you having difficulty?
Shell68 0 Posted February 2, 2017 Mainly concerned that if I eat real food, I'll slide towards overeating or choosing bad foods. This last weekend, I discovered I could eat potato chips which is definitely not in my best interest. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Vinasu 621 Posted February 2, 2017 Well, obviously you shouldn't have gone near chips. But the fact is, you're going to have to deal with eating real food eventually, which means you're going to have to deal with your food issues. Plan your meals. Weigh and measure food. Keep healthy, delicious Snacks on hand (I love grape tomatoes and cucumbers). Talk to a therapist. Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App
