Thank you... It;s been fine, just don't do too much too early ! Rest, lots of Protein, fluids and sleep .

I also had my upper and lower eyes done plus my boobs - which are now AMAZING lol

Thigh lift later in the year then im finished. Having to go private in the UK doesn't come cheap.

My eyes are still very swollen and tight but no pain at all, even right after the op which surprised me!

Oh my gosh I'm so jealous!!! I want my boobs done. I JUST said yesterday that I look like a little boy because i'm seriously flat chested now...I've had mosquito bites that are bigger than my boobs! I can't afford the extra 5k right now so i suppose I'll just have to live with being the president of the itty bitty titty comity.

I was the opposite.. Far too big, hanging down and now they are the same as they were before having kids and losing over 100 llb in weight. Will add pics later.

Good luck for next week ????

Thank you ShinyLady I never had bags under my eye pre VSG. I lost a lot of fat from my face, hence the bags. I am really glad I had the eyes done.

You look amazing! I just turned 30 and am noticing puffiness/bags under my eyes where they're were none before surgery. I thought it was just me not getting sleep. My sister noticed too. I hope it doesn't get any worse. Im still getting carded lol.

I was quite shocked about my eyes, I have never had bags before and was always told I didn't look my age. Each day they feel less 'tight' but they are still swollen a little. My daughter in law is 31 and she still gets asked for ID !! lol

@@_Kate_ Surgery is Friday! I am so excited!!! A little nervous about the pain. My doc says no heavy lifting or big movements for a month. Hopefully my husband will vacuum during that time ;)

Whohoooo not long Linda.

I am 4 weeks out on Monday and went for my first long walk today with the dog (about an hour across farmland) and now I hurt lol. I kept having to remind the hubster to slow down.

Don't worry about the house, when you have visitors and they ask if you need anything let them clean! lol.

Be prepared for swelling and make sure you wear your binder day and night.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
