I took a daily nap for the first two weeks. Don't forget - your insides really went through a lot! It is easy to forget because the incisions are so teeny. Take it easy, heal well. It wasn't until about 4 days into pureed foods that I began to feel like my old self. It will be especially taxing if you're back at work.
_Kate_ 2,224 Posted January 29, 2017 It took me a good 6 weeks to feel as if I had any energy but everyone is different. I went back to work at 5 weeks and was in bed by 6pm every night, exhausted. Yet, some here go back to work after a week and are fine. You really need to be sipping all day long. Protein shakes, Protein drinks etc. How long are you on fluids for? You will feel much better once you are eating 'real' foods. Keep siping and congratulations! Kate
