smaller 77 Posted February 19, 2017 Thanks for asking. Hockey went as well as could be expected for not playing for 10 years. I didn't fall on my ass when stepping on to the ice, so that was good. The bad part was I tore my adductor before I even faced one shot (I'm a goalie). I bent in the wrong way while stretching and it 'popped'. I was in pain, but I played regardless. I just had to take it easy. I knew I should have listened to that little voice in the back of my head and done a few weeks of physical therapy. I've had a chronically torn adductor since I was 18. I tried stretching for the week before I stepped on the ice, but it clearly wasn't enough. So it's 3-4 months of physical therapy for me and hopefully then I can get back on the ice. Congrats on the successful hike. Keep it up. How's the rest of your progress coming along?
hikerdog 45 Posted February 22, 2017 Torn adductor...Sounds painful. My dog has to have ACL surgery on Friday. Kinda had a stall on the scales but I've had to buy new clothes. Weird seeing muscles I didn't really know I had. Lol 2 smaller and kimmyjo.smith reacted to this
