Hello, I am new to this site and new to blogging! I am hoping to have lap band surgery, and due to financial limits I am interested in having it done in Mexico. Does anyone know how I can find and research lap-band surgeons in Mexico? Anyone had their surgery there?

Go down to the section, Doctors and hospitals. There you will find a lot of posts about Mexican doctors. I went to Mexico and had the surgery with Dr. Ortiz. I found him by reading posts and picked the one I was most impressed with after doing research on each doctor. I was not sorry I did this and not sorry for the surgeon I chose.

Hi there! Most Mexican surgeons have websites and US patient co-ordinators. I am sure you will get more replies to this!

There are literally THOUSANDS of patients who went to Mexico for their Lap-Band surgery.

The only thing you have to keep in mind is that a lot of US doctors will not see you if you had your surgery done in Mexico.
