Looking for people that had their surgery on January 24th or close to it.

Hi! I was sleeved on the 24th. Swelling was my biggest issue too but walking does help. All my fingers were numb after the surgery, but now mine are better. Only my pinkie and ring fingers still the tingling sensations.

I had surgery the 25th. Feel lucky that I haven't had too many side effects. The gas the first 2 days were the worst. Now the little bubbles that come up every time I drink. Feeling good and excited to be on this journey.

I think the bubbles are kinda funny. I am now a week post op and I feel really good. I was hoping for the weird taste/smell issue, but so far I am doing well. Makes me wonder if I will lose much weight.

I have started tracking on My Fitness Pal, just to get into the habit of doing it. Has anybody paid for premium MFP? I'm not sure it's worth an extra $12 monthly. My biggest issue now is my head hunger. I am looking to get into some kind of therapy that wont break the bank, because I can tell now, I have a real problem that needs to be sorted out during this honey moon phase.

How are you feeling? I hope you're doing well! I'm still in pain. Not as much as the first couple days though

Anyone who is in their first few days, hang tough. All the things you'll miss by day 4 post op:

1- nausea

2- bloating/fluid retention

3- headaches

4- smell sensitivity

5- headaches

6- sleepless nights

7- tender tummy

8- headaches (I said that already, right?)

I feel so much better today. The future is truly bright.

Good wishes to all us January sleevers!!

I've used it for awhile and never paid for the premium. You can still track all the food you eat and exercise so I didn't see the point.

I just came home from the hospital an hour ago from a January 30 surgery and am sipping on my first Protein shake. I am using Bariatric fusion. When I drink Water, it feels like a rock falling down my gullet!

On the positive side, I've been walking a lot and have only had minor pain from gas. I gained about three pounds from pre-hospital but I'm trusting that that is Fluid and meds. Good to meet you all!

I've moved up to the puréed stage today 10 days out ... currently looking for all types of recipes ... had an egg salad today which consists of one hard boiled egg and lite mayo (seasoned to my liking) and I thought I loved egg salad... well after surgery eggs are horrible i couldn't even get 3 bites in before I was full

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
