Help I got piles. Do not know what to eat.

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I have got piles. Been eating proper food for 3 weeks now and finding it difficult to know what to eat as my potty is hard as stone and I now have piles. On medicine for 2 weeks now and my dr. told me to eat alot of fibre and vegetablers. I have been doing as he suggested but with no improvement. Any suggestion??? On a meal plan which is balanced with fibre??? and that your stomach is balanced?? It's very painful

I noticed I get about 0 Fiber a day, so I keep meaning to start back on my benefiber..

I wonder if it takes a little while to regulate you??

I would suggest keep trying it.. and maybe even get some prune juice.

Pain meds can make you constipated.

Post-op, it was a while before my first poo.. I ended up drinking a lot of prune juice one night and it fixed (I was worried about now having bowel movement in so long) .. and I get constipated a lot now, I just let nature take its course now.

Benefiber, add it to absolutely everything from your Water to your cooking. It takes a good month before you'll notice a difference. Keep using it anyway.

In my experience, it takes about four HOURS before I notice a difference with BeneFiber! :peep: Just to show your mileage may vary. It's great advice, a great product, and daily use will prevent any problems.

Four hours? Great! I learn something new every single day here. I've not heard of anyone having success that fast so it's good to know YMMV!

It's a different kind of fiber product and for that reason it can take a bit of time to work but I'm glad to know that it can work quickly. That's great.

BTW, how are you doing with the new band? Everything going well for you?

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
