mylighthouse 782 Posted January 27, 2017 If you are on a liquid diet then you can't have blended chicken breast. You need to stick to liquids only.
New_VSGDiva 4 Posted January 27, 2017 Try Premier Protein shakes (I purchased at Walmart or publix) They Are Better To Me Than The powder Protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
rgibson 2 Posted January 27, 2017 Try using EAS shakes. They are sold at CVS and Walmart. You can also add flavored extracts or even powdered Peanut Butter. These were approved by my nutritionist. EAS only had vanilla and chocolate but adding the extracts was good. My favorite was chocolate with strawberry extract and chocolate with Peanut Butter powder Sent from my LGMS550 using the BariatricPal App
Misty Barnhart 29 Posted January 27, 2017 Try Premier Protein shakes (I purchased at Walmart or publix) They Are Better To Me Than The Powder Protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App This is what my Doctor recommended as well. Theres 30 grams of protein in one small box. They sell them in 4 packs at walmart for 6 dollars. I believe they are even cheaper at Sams club ans you get 12 or 18 of them. Misty
Butterflight 49 Posted January 27, 2017 After trying MANY different brands of Protein shakes, I now use Iconic Protein Shakes. I get them from Sprouts for about $2.50 each. The vanilla and coffee flavors are my favorite. Definitely keep trying to find a brand that you like, post surgery shakes will be your best way of getting your Protein. You could also but unflavored Protein Powder and put it in broth or Jello, but for me, I didn't really like the texture Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
