I have Medicare Insurance

Does anyone have Medicare insurance? If so can you give me some insight as to the approval process? I have a rider through Viva I'm in Alabama but Medicare will be paying for surgery if I get approved. I presently weigh 234 5'2 BMI 42 no current health problems other than Bipolar disorder.

Also I want to know what if I lose some weight and it take me under BMI if 40 will that stop me from getting approved?

I know that I was told without co-morbidities, if I went under 40bmi- my insurance (tricare) would not approve

@@kokofamfour I'm just a little over 40 BMI I'm so miserable being overweight What was your BMI when you got started if I can ask? Thanks for the reply by the way!
