Hey guys, I had procedure 1/19/17. I've done well; however sent home with no pain meds, just Tylenol Again, I've managed BUT my main left surgical incision is wider than others and still having moderate pain. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

My incision in my belly button still hurts after 7 days. When I had my follow up with my doc he said "it should. It's the largest one and that's where I pulled your stomach out." He told me to just take it easy and follow the steps he outlined and it will ease. I think others in here have mentioned ice or heat packs to soothe it. Maybe try those?

I had the same. Its the incision where the stomach is removed. If it carries on being painful it might be good to call your team and let them know so that they can put your mind at rest.

Congratulations on the surgery and best wishes for a speedy recovery. :)

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
