Chris Deprez has just e.mailed me back, the combined areas of ECFS include Newport, Bristol, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Dublin. I assume Edinburgh and Newport ar Chris Deprez, and the others are Fred and CDB, hope this info helps.

Edinburght is defo Dr C unless he does another day but Duprez does glasgow think its every 3rd fri in the month

Probably Gillian, though it does still stick out a bit, nothing like it was or like Garry's, so its just taking longer for the swelling to go down.

I have had a reply from Chris Deprez and he has made me an appointment for 9th April in Manchester with Frederik.

Is he the same Frederik that works with Dr CDB?

yes it his him luv i am also going down to manchester that day think i am 10.45 may meet you there.

No wonder I'm sore, I just watched a video of an eroded band being removed

The reason i looked was to find out what an eroded band looked like, cos MVDB told me that the tubing had eroded and there was a hole in it. Yikes.

To think I have been through that twice, wasnt too bad actually, it was the removal of the faulty one that is causing me pain I think.

Oh blinkin eck Garry, you wont see me cos I'm 1pm....you'll be long gone when i get there unless you're hanging around waiting for us chicks to get there:w00t:

Which is not a bad thing btw:laugh:

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
