High Anxiety 0 Posted June 3, 2009 Hi - wish I'd known about the 'package' - if it was offered to me before I booked, I must have missed it. Anyway, a couple of questions: Does the Doc send you home with any pain relief meds - if not, what is recommended, something soluable in Water like Solpadine? Also, what about multi-vitamins? Has anyone found a good liquid Vitamin? Thanks

It was Coleen who booked it for me and i've paid a deposit so don't know why you got given duff info! x Hi Teebird I phoned her back and she says it is now new company policy not to offer new bandsters the 6 month deal. as of the 2nd of June, however she is going to ask her superior if I can get it since I am only couple of days out. Thanks Hi high anxiety the hospital give you soluble painkillers to take home with you also anti sickness tablets, i tried the painkillers in apple juice and water but couldnt drink them, they were disgusting so i just stuck to the nurofen melts which i though worked really well.. i only needed painkillers for a couple of days x

Thanks for all you help Bobo. J x:rolleyes2: I might cancel my 6 month package for this reason: I've just received the paperwork from WLS and it seems all a bit expensive when i may not need it. Am i right in thinking that the initial assessment of £120 with WLS is not included in the 6 month package of £349? That's the way i read the paperwork today. Can anyone shed any light please. It all seems like a lot of money when i already paying for the first fill with Frederick, second fill with initial assessment and then if i only need 3 fills, i've only got one fill out of that £349 package! Does anyone have any advice for me? Do you think i should cancel and do them every 2 weeks paying as i go along? Thanks, T x

When I spoke to Coleen today she said if I opted to have fills only it would be £120 for first fill and then £85 thereafter but they are not too keen on giving new bandsters this service? I was definately under the impression the £350 was all inclusive you must find out and let us all know. J x:eek:

Thanks, T x No t bird you do not have to pay an extra £120 .The £120 is if you are doing indavigal fills you would get the assessment and a fill then after that you would pay £85 each fill after that. All you have to pay for the package is£349.
