Just be calm. I went and got a massage the day before my surgery. It brought me to a good place in my mind. It will be over before you know it. Good luck. PS. I am 4 weeks out and it is absolutely the best thing I have ever done for myself.

I was told in my nutrition class to have a heating pad and ask the nurse for an abdominal binder to take home for comfort.

I stocked up on everything that I would need when I got home. I then proceeded to clean the house, wash the bed sheets, and all of that stuff I either won't feel like, or won't be able to do for a while after surgery.

Just had the sleeve surgery on Jan 17th. It was fine. I also stocked the house and went to get a massage. Hospital stay was 1day and recovery is going good. Not a lot a pain at all. Good luck

Mine is st 9:15am but prepping starts at 7:30am. And I am too but oh so excited to start this journey

I did the same thing. My house is cleaned from top to bottom. I also bought everything I needed to survive afterwards......heating pad, stomach binder, and tons of liquids like gatorade, Water, and LIFT.
