Back pain

Looking into having wls, I have chronic back pain. Was curious if anyone else has/had lower back pain and if the surgery helped?

Also curious about this. My back surgeon recommend I have wls to help with my back since surgery, injections, pt, and meds don't help. Having my surgery soon so we'll see

I can't recommend this enough! It didn't take but maybe 20-25 lbs AND WALKING on the treadmill and I have been able to take the shower chair out of the shower, go shopping, do dishes... all the things I was having issues with prior to surgery. With the back pain not screaming so loud... my hip arthritis squawks at me. But I will take it!

I have had chronic back pain for about 15 years. I am on long term pain medication because of it. But I do have to say since I have had my surgery, I am hurting a lot less. So definitely a great thing
