JamieLogical 8,713 Posted January 20, 2017 Lots of people have difficulty eating only 3 weeks post-op. I would imagine it's actually MOST people. You are still healing and probably still have internal swelling. What food stage are you on? Do you eat VERY slowly and chew very thoroughly? What symptoms are you experiencing when eating (pain, nausea, etc.)?
lindach1761 4 Posted January 20, 2017 I'm on soft foods. I find I have a hard time getting in my foods on certain days. Sent from my SM-N920T using the BariatricPal App

lindach1761 4 Posted January 21, 2017 Do you find you get gurgling as things go down? Sent from my SM-N920T using the BariatricPal App
MrsPenguin 103 Posted January 21, 2017 Yes, I had lots of gurgling. Also, I had good days and bad days with the eating too at that stage. At 6 weeks now and things are better, but still occasionally feel a little off. It takes a long time to fully heal, so just take it as it comes and rest when you need to. It's okay to give yourself extra rest.
