Lap banded 9/18/07

Hi My Name is Francine:

and I was just banded on 9/24/07... feeling good, feeling full alot, going through the liquid stage and having to force myself to drink, drink drink !

I joined this site in Aug and have been on it daily...learned alot of what to expect and just reading other people's banding experiences, this has been a great support for me and I finally got the courage to introduce myself... :clap2: Thanks for all the readings and advice very helpful...

Removed my dressings today....scars healing well........quite surprised how big the port scar is to the rest.....feeling a lot better today but have developed quite a lot of back pain...:rose:

Managed a full tin of Soup yesterday without the bloated feeling that i was getting before....only 8 days until i start my soft diet:clap2:

I had that feeling too! Lots of new feelings in fact! Welcome to the Loser's Club my friend! Just remember to eat very slowly. When you can finally eat solid food don't drink 30 minutes before or an hour after eating. I didn't hear them say that and since I have been following that rule it has really helped me stay satisfied longer and avoided overstretching my pouch! You go girl!

It's now 5 days since i was banded and i've lost 12 pounds:whoo:

Still can't believe it!!!

It makes all the pain worthwhile

Hi Bernie32~

Congrats on the weight loss!!! YEAH!!!! And just to think..this is only just the beginning. Keep up doing what you are doing because its definitely working. LOL! I had the same symptoms about the back pain...could be trapped gas..try a heating pad, that helped me out alot.
