Swallowing fluids well but don't think i'm drinking enough, had a cup of hot chocolate and a milk shake today but felt really bloated afterwards. Does anyone know when the pain will start to ease? kagoscuba 0 Posted September 24, 2007 Hot chocolate and a milkshake two days out from band surgery? Your post-surgery diet is a far cry from the one I've been told to follow. Week 1: Breakfast: 1/2 cup diet Gelatin 8-10 oz of unsweetened beverage Lunch: 1/2 cup Crystal light 8-10oz unsweetened beverage Dinner: 1/2 cup broth 8-10oz unsweetened beverage Snack: 1 sugar-free popsicle Perhaps you are trying too much too soon?
