catwoman7 11,220 Posted January 18, 2017 I felt that way the first few weeks. Your body's been through trauma, and you're not taking in very many calories. It takes time...
Redmaxx 740 Posted January 18, 2017 Everyone is different. I had tons of energy. Just give yourself time to heal and your body time to adjust to the new you. Don't measure yourself against anyone else. You will be ok.

TXJess 98 Posted January 18, 2017 I've felt the same way. I've been struggling to get my Protein in, so I just decided to eat nothing but Protein right now. It has helped a lot. I hope you get to feeling better soon. I keep telling myself that every day is a little better.

Jill_Me 100 Posted January 19, 2017 Calories, calories, calories. Aside from the obvious need for hydration my nutritionist encouraged us to get enough calories in every day so we don't feel so fatigued. Of course Protein is important, but even with 3 Premier Protein shakes per day you're not reaching the 500-600 calories per day that are typically what they go for during the first few weeks postop. Eas Myoplex double chocolate has the most calories per shake that I've seen out there. They have them at Walmart.< a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="https://s.bariatricpal.com/uploads/monthly_01_2017/post-305854-14848360465133.jpg" data-fileid="68410" rel=""> Then there are these little 2oz jars at Dollar Tree -- they come in a pack of 2. Fill up 4 of them ready to go every hour, then set a timer for yourself every 15 minutes or find a Westminster Chimes app on your phone and use that to remind you to drink every 15 minutes. Good luck to you, you will be feeling better soon! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

LadyDarkness415 41 Posted January 20, 2017 Protein promotes healing. Doc told me to up it and it worked for me. But give your body time to heal as well. Some people heal quicker than others. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using the BariatricPal App
