krissyvsg 47 Posted January 18, 2017 Hey I'm exactly seven days post op! And about two to three days post I started to experience this pulling/burning sensation by my biggest incision that hurts like hell for about 30secs every time I moved to walk or bend! The feeling has def gotten less and less haven't felt for a day or so! Any one else experience this? My doc said it's normal! hayleyf3706 150 Posted January 18, 2017 It sounds pretty normal! My incisions hurt HORRIBLY at first. That was my biggest complaint when I first went home. But it got better and better. Stay active, but don't strain yourself too much. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

That could be a sign of a hernia hapening. Please take it easy. Let your doctor know if it happens again. I herniated, it felt like you explained. Ripping, burning and at one point a explosion for a quick second. Take it easy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using the BariatricPal App

20mustang02 22 Posted January 19, 2017 I use an ice pack on my incisions once or twice a day and it has really helped with my pain. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
diaryofa_sleevegirl 1 Posted January 20, 2017 It's the incision that theynpulled ur tummy out of- I had it and now -lost 3 weeks post op I have it again because I got a cough and I coughed so hard one of my inside stitches popped- this is the worse pain ever but my surgeon says it has to heal on its own- Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
LittleLizzieLilliput 919 Posted January 20, 2017 My incisions were a BITCH. lol! I love them though because they represent this huge thing I'm doing. But had a lot of that kind of pain. And then 4 weeks in I was constipated and the easing of that caused me to tear one of my incisions and my healing was set back by 2 weeks. Just move as little as possible and take your pain meds or liquid tylenol.
