I am a 57 yo f with chronic back pain, knee issues and fibromyalgia. I have had a total of 11 surgical procedures since I was 30 and on pain Meds everyday....I am scheduled for 1/30 & am very excited! I started this process 8/12/16 @ 230lbs ----I have lost 30 lbs since - I have 60 more to go ! Already my sleep apnea is better , diabetes which was around the corner for me is now hopefully in my rear view mirror!

Since August, when I started with just walking , I worked up to 2 miles a day , I now go to the gym 3-4 x per week

I hope to eventually discontinue pain meds or at the very least diminish dosage!

Awesome!!! You will do fantastic!! You already have your mind set. I had my sleeve 12/8/16..... I was on Metformin, Invokana, Crestor, Losartan and Aspirin..... I no longer take anything, except my vitamins!!! Have never been so happy!!!
