OneDollarBill 371 Posted January 17, 2017 This past Sunday I completed another goal I set for myself. I completed the 2017 Disneyland Star Wars Half Marathon. While I wasn't fast I finished in 2:51:33. Despite the look on my face I was actually very happy (almost in tears #revokemancard). This event will hold a special place in my heart. I have completed many 5 and 10k events. My first being in a 5K in November of 2015. Now here I am coming up on my 2 year anniversary in March and completed my first half. Before having this surgery I would have never entertained the idea of running a half let alone anything else. 2 goplay94123 and Newsoulz reacted to this

MowryRocks 679 Posted January 17, 2017 Truly inspiring. I have been doing 5ks for about 3 years. I decided earlier this month that I was going to complete a 10k, a 15k, and a half marathon before the end of November.

ssflbelle 829 Posted January 17, 2017 Congratulations! That is quite an accomplishment. It doesn't matter how slow you were. You did it and that is all that counts! That is exactly how I am going to thinking when I finish my bike challenge for Literacy on Feb 4th. Been training since last February. I can barely walk or run but I can ride. Good luck with your goals to be completed in 2017.
