ResilientMaria 19 Posted January 17, 2017 I could never get the "right answer" after watching a bunch of YT videos. One thing I did notice is that they have you hooked up to an IV still when they have you start walking so here is what I packed: Deodorant Toothbrush Toothpaste Cleansing wipes (in case I can't shower there) Brush Medicines I filled A change of clothes Undies Sports bra No slip socks Gas x strips Anything else I should bring? Butterflight 49 Posted January 17, 2017 Oh, I took earbuds so that I could watch Netflix on my phone without the sex scenes from OITNB or Shameless being heard as the nurses came in and out of my room ???? bdjennings1957 2 Posted January 17, 2017 I took a toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush and deodorant. I also took a robe. When I got up and walked they clamped off the IV and disconnected it. I didn't walk around with the pole. I only stayed 2 nights. They provide soap, washclothes and towels for washing off and non slip socks. Wore home same sweats and shirt I came with. No bra. I found it rubbed my upper incision. Simplistic procedure I've ever had. Sent from my XT1096 using the BariatricPal App

almost40ish 58 Posted February 4, 2017 I leave for surgery on 2/17. I've heard bringing a heat pad & extension cord to ensure you can charge your phone/iPad from the bed are also helpful. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
Thecloude1 342 Posted February 4, 2017 I second the chapstick and biotene [emoji16][emoji106] Everyone is different. I never touched my iPad or phone and I couldn't change into my pjs because I was hooked up to the IV machine until the morning I was released [emoji107]????
