Approval letter

Ok, I received a letter approving a hospital stay. Is that the only letter that comes, or did I miss one. I see some received a letter stating the exact procedure. How do I know if i have to do any other requirements? Sorry if I sound stupid but I'm so confused right now. BUT WAS EXCITED TO SEE APPROVED!!!

I was like, we'll why would they approve a hospital stay, if they didn't approve it.

You need to call your insurance agency and ask them exactly what you need before scheduling your surgery. Mine does not require approval for the surgery, but it does require a pre-certification for the hospital stay. They said I will not get an approval letter for that. It is just for the hospital to submit, which I have confirmed that they have done.
