j2m1h 24 Posted January 15, 2017 My surgery was Tuesday for 24 hours I didn't drink anything except when taking meds. Then for next drank 30cc in different time intervals 30 mins, 20 mins, 15mins etc. My question is how much should I be drinking at one time now.I've been able to do the 64oz+ of fluids per day with no problems. But only drinking in small amounts, how much can I drink at once and how often? Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

For your liquid diet you can drink chicken broth or beef broth. Hope this helps... Sent from my LGMS330 using the BariatricPal App
MFM008 44 Posted January 15, 2017 Be carefully gentle with your stomach. The nurses had me drinking 1 ounce about every 10 to 15 minutes. Be patient, I'm 11 weeks out and instead of 2 swallows at a time I can drink 4 swallows. Try to stick to Clear Liquids. Carbonation will upset your new stomach for a while.
