Clear liquid diet

Schedule for surgery on January 25th. Doing Protein shakes, broths, flavored Water and fruit juices with 1/2 part Water. Question, can I add teaspoon Peanut Butter to Protein Shakes or could I add artificial Peanut Butter flavoring or sugar free pudding mix ( just teaspoon) ? Trying to think of different ideas. Thanks

@@GregMedic51 So, Clear liquids on MY program meant liquids I could see through...no Protein shakes, no puddings, no nut butters allowed. However, that was my post-op diet, I had no pre-op diet. Clear Liquids for 2 weeks pre-op sounds awfully restrictive, maybe you can call your surgeon's office and get them to clarify.

My surgery date is also January 25th. I use PB2 in my chocolate Protein Shake. I'm surprised you can have fruit juices. I was told no fruits. I have 3-4 Protein Shakes, broth, sf Jello and lots of Water.

yeah, the reason behind fruit juice is in case need the sugar. However, has to be Water downed ?

It has to half cup juice to half cup Water, and has to be clear juices. No orange juice

Get Better than Bullion. It tastes so much better than premade broths and they have a ton of flavors. It was the only thing that got me through liquids!
