creeunique1 4 Posted January 21, 2017 Ok. Since I'm a traveling nurse and a cash pay patient, everything is going by quickly. I decided to have the surgery about 3 weeks ago, had consultation, paid money and am scheduled for next Wednesday. I'm feeling a certain way, because I'm not being told anything. I've heard about the preop diet but haven't been told to start one. Should I be concerned? What is the preop diet all about? bill1130 115 Posted January 21, 2017 Pre op diet is mostly a liquid diet to shrink your liver so it's not in the way during surgery. It's no crabs and no sugars Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
creeunique1 4 Posted January 21, 2017 I'm wondering why I haven't been instructed to start one. Surgery is in 4 days Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
